Our highly Pure Product ACECOL are 'Guar Gums' manufactured in a completely automated Plant situated at Himalaya Estate, Amli, Silvasa (D.N.H). This automated Plant uses stringent Quality Control thus ensuring that the product adheres to perfect hygiene and GMP's s that Acecol is free from foreign bodies or Impurities. The Plant also Incorporates state of the art technology in the field of safety, manufacturing, Packaging, Processing, Analysis and Testing.

The plant is self sufficient owing to its own power management system, which includes a 500 KVA DG set, which keeps the manufacturing process going even during a power failure.

Our testing and Quality control labs with their highly trained personnel, carry out all the prescribed tests, analytical procedures and also issue certificate of analysis including Microbiological certification for every batch shipped to the customer.

To maintain product consistency and productivity from batch to batch, no factors are compromised. Each batch, standardized and blended, ranges from 5000 Kgs to 7000 Kgs only. Reverse Osmosis process is used to purify water.

ANALYTICAL METHODS

Viscosities are normally measured on Brookfield Syncrolectric Viscometers, on a "moisture as-is" basis. Usually a Brookfield RVF Viscometer is used at 20 rpm and Spindle nos 3 or 4 and the measurement is taken at 25°C. The solution is prepared by mixing ACECOL in water under stirring for 5 minutes at 500 rpm and 25 minutes at 1000 rpm. This solution is prepared at room temperature and stored at 25°C till viscosity measurements are completed. A special stirrer blade is recommended which will gently shear the solution and prevent incorporation of air into the ACECOL dispersion.

In ACECOL viscosity measurements for comparisons, it is always important to state viscosity measurements could include measurement along with % concentration, viscometer, rpm, spindle, temperature, pH and time. The method of preparing the solution is also important. More sophisticated theology measurements could include measurements like Yield values, Thixotropy, Consistency, Modulus and "N" number. Protein content is analyzed by the micro-Kjedahl method. Galactomannan content (%) is calculated "by difference" (100 - moisture - ash - acid insoluble residue - protein) Microbiological analysis methods used are USFDA recommended, slightly modified to suit ACECOL characteristics. Analytical methods are available to customers on request.
